FACE
LIFT
With
increasing age, the effects of gravity, exposure to
the sun, and the stresses of daily life the effect
can be seen on the faces.
The
best candidate for a facelift is a man or woman
whose face and neck have begun to sag, but whose
skin still has some elasticity and whose bone
structure is strong and well-defined. Most patients
are in their forties to sixties, but facelifts can
be done successfully on people in their seventies or
eighties as well if you don’t have any major medical
illness.
A
facelift can't stop the normal aging process. It
improves the visible signs of aging by removing the
hanging fat, tightens underlying muscles, and
redrapes the skin of face and neck. A facelift can
be done either alone, or in combination with other
procedures such as a browlift, blepharoplasty, or
rhinoplasty.
A
facelift can makes you look younger and fresher, and
enhances the self- confidence in the process. But it
can't give you a totally different look, nor can it
restore the health and vitality of your youth.
Before you decide to have surgery, think carefully
about your expectations and discuss them with your
surgeon.

EYES
As we
age, excess skin and fat accumulate around the eyes.
Untreated, the excess skin and fat can lead to a
heavy feeling around the eyes. There is even
difficulty in keeping the eyes open. In the lower
