PLASTIC
SURGERY
Cleft
& Cleft Palate :One of the commonest birth defects (
occurs with a frequency of 1 in 600 newborn babies)
involves non-union of lip on one or both sides or
non-union of palate. Dr Satya Saraswat has
been accredited by Smile train (the world's biggest
cleft charity organization) to perform free of cost
treatment of cleft lip & palate & it's secondary
deformities. He has performed around 1700 such
operations in last five years.

corrected by sling operations which improves the
tired appearance of eyes.

Hand Deformity: May be congenital like fused fingers
(syndactyly), extra finger (polydactyly), weak &
small (hypoplastic) or may be traumatic

birth on the ventral (underside) of penis. It may is
associated with a hooded prepuce & bending of penis(
chordee).

Facial Injuries: May be of the overlying soft
tissue or underlying skeleton and are corrected by
pastic surgical procedures such as soft tissue
repairs and maxillofacial skeletal miniplate & screw

Limb Trauma:
The role of plasticr
sugery in complex limb injury involves skin
grafting, local flaps , distant flaps and free flap
surgeries to provide soft tissue coverage.

Micro-Vascular Surgery: Repairing of tiny cut blood
vessel even less than 1.5mm size helps us in
repairing and rejoining the amputated parts such as
fingers, hands, legs.
Brachial Plexus Surgery: One of the most complicated
plastic surgical procedure involves correcting the
injury to the brachial plexus using complex
procedures like end-to-end nerve repair, neurotisation , microneurolysis, nerve
grafting,recruitment of intraplexus and extraplexus
donors, and local and free-muscle transfers are used
to achieve optimal |
